At the Meeting of the Board of Directors, ASPA’s President highly appreciated efforts made by Hoa Lac High-Tech Park Management Board in organizing the event “Conference on Business Exchange among businesses of Viet Nam and ASPA businesses” on August 19 and 20, 2015. As a result, through direct business exchange meetings in forms of business to business, 03 contracts have been signed so far between Vietnamese enterprises and Korean ones, including 01 contract on technical cooperation, 01 export contract and 01 contract as commercial agent and technical cooperation.



Then ASPA’s Board of Directors discussed on some topics as election of ASPA’s President for the 2016-2018 term; establishment of ASPA’s Office in South West and North Africa regions; decision on organizing 2016 events (Conference of Leaders of Asia High-Tech Parks to be organized from May 09 to 11, 2016 in Kulim High-Tech Park, Malaysia; Annual Conference to be organized in ICRISAT Science Park, India from October 19 to 21, 2016.

Within the framework of the Annual Conference, the participants were presented with presentations on Science Parks from Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, India, and Malaysia on current difficulties faced by the Science Parks as well as solutions on strengthening linkages among Institutes– Universities – Industries.



ASPA’s 19th Annual Conference was the good opportunity for the Management Board to promote and strengthen previous partners as Hsinchu High – Tech Park, Taichung High – Tech Park, Thailand’s Science Park, Kulim High – Tech Park (Malaysia),... at the same time opened new cooperation opportunities with Science Parks as Keihanna Science City (Japan), Indonesia’s High – Tech Parks,...

Asian Science Park Association (ASPA) was founded in 1997. So far, ASPA has had 113 members, including 16 members of the Board of Directors. In 2015, the Association enrolled 6 new members from Bhutan, Iran, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan. Hoa Lac High – Teck Park is a member of the Association’s Board of Directors.
