Overview of the talkshow
In the context of complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic and occurrent natural disasters, Intellectual Property propaganda events and training activities in the Central - Highlands were not held as usual. However, with the efforts of professors and students of the Faculty of Tourism, University of Economics - University of Da Nang and the intimate cooperation of IP Vietnam Representative Office in Da Nang City, the talkshow took place in an exciting atmosphere and achieved good results.
At the beginning, LL.M. Ngo Phuong Tra - Head of IP Vietnam Representative Office in Da Nang City presented general issues on identifying Intellectual Property assets in daily life and learning activities, in order to help students to access basic concepts of Intellectual Property rights and perceive the role of Intellectual Property. Furthermore, LL.M. Ngo Phuong Tra consulted with students specific and valuable lessons in the grant and protection of Intellectual Property rights in the field of Services - Tourism - Hotels; and also encouraged building the consciousness of respect and protection of Intellectual Property rights as well as the application of knowledge about Intellectual Property in study and work in the future.
During the Q&A section, the speakers and students had a extremely active discussion with a series of practical situations related to the topic "Intellectual Property in the field of Services - Tourism - Hotels".

At the end, MBA. Nguyen Ky Vien - Deputy Dean of Faculty of Tourism emphasized that the talkshow accomplished well, helping the students understand the importance of Intellectual Property rights and identify any disputes that may arise in the field of Services - Tourism - Hotels related to Intellectual Property rights. MBA. Nguyen Ky Vien also expressed his intention to continue the cooperation between their Faculty and IP Vietnam Representative Office in Da Nang City to jointly organize periodic events for students in the coming time.
